Fees – all inclusive in the metro area


An initial obligation-free meeting at my home in Shoalwater is free of charge.

No hidden extras - A fee of $690 will cover lodgement of Notice of Intended Marriage, initial interview, creation of a personal ceremony, further interviews to refine service order, research if required, correspondence to DIMIA if required, administration and documentation of all marriage documents including the optional Registered Marriage Certificate, provision of PA equipment, one rehearsal and travel in the metro area. A non-refundable booking fee of $250 is requested on lodgement of the NOIM with the balance payable at the rehearsal prior to the wedding.

However, please contact me for a statement of fees as they can vary according to factors such as unconventional time, place or risk and travel outside the metropolitan area. Also, in certain circumstances, I can offer a discounted rate for a very simple ceremony on a weekday at my home involving just two witnesses.

I am now taking bookings for country venues such as Bunbury, Australind, Yallingup, Margaret River, Dunsborough, Harvey, Lancelin, York, Gingin, Moore River, Cervantes, Jurien Bay. Please contact me to discuss fees for these regions.

Other Ceremonies
Again, in the metro area, an all inclusive charge of $490 will cover interviews, personalized ceremony, Certificate, provision of PA equipment, signing table and chairs. A non-refundable booking fee of $250 is due and payable at initial interview.

To “my” couples - it gives me great pleasure to offer you a discount for renewal or reaffirmation of your wedding vows, and also for naming ceremonies for your children. What a wonderful way to catch up again.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation of the ceremony more than 30 days prior to the ceremony the balance of the account will be refunded in full. In the event of cancellation of the ceremony less than 30 days, but more than 14 days prior to the ceremony, 65% of the balance of the account will be refunded. Any refund payable for cancellation within 7 days prior to the ceremony will be at my discretion.

Certificates provided by The Registrar of Births Deaths and Marriages (BDM).
An official certificate from BDM may be required if you choose to change your name after marriage. The cost of this is included in my fees, however, if you do not require this document at this time, please deduct $47.00 from my fees.

Where a couple are both the natural parents of a child or children born in WA prior to their marriage, the date of marriage can be included on a new birth certificate. The cost of each of these certificates is currently $47.00 and is payable to the Registrar of BDM. I can provide you with application forms and also send them to BDM with other documentation after the wedding if you require them immediately. It will usually take about two weeks for delivery. I can also assist with the documentation for new birth certificates for children born interstate.
